And Life Goes On

I haven't honestly picked up a needle in many weeks, this seems to be a theme for me. Between hiking with the spring weather,  dogs in less than ideal health and what seemed like a million little things.  Life stopped me in my tracks and reminded me to slow down and look around.  I got a call that no one likes 2 weeks ago, my aunt's health was failing and she wasn't expected to make it more than a few weeks. Returning home after her memorial service I find myself making time to stitch more and more as if to remember years of vacations with my mom and my aunt, needlework in tow as we roamed whatever state my aunt was living in at the time. We started yearly trips when I was 16 and even managed to attend a few of the EGA National conventions to learn some new tricks with a needle and thread.
