Happy Dance

Finally put the finishing touches on this one this morning ;) Ok... remember that SBQ last week about stitching faster when you get to the end of a project? I was going like mad this morning to get this done before I had to leave for work so I could post it. This is Baroque by Jean Hilton, started December 2005. Jay picked this start out for me when I asked him what from my stash he liked best. Now I just need to get a few more things done so I can get Mystique and Rococco the companion pieces done to go with it as
.
The sun was also cooperating with me this morning so this is a rare outdoor photo taken so the colors come out a more true that the flash shots I normally have. Only downside to that nice sunny sky today is the fact that its absolutely bitter out, oh well... can't win them all I guess. There are a few elements on the finished piece I opted to skip. There was a bit more decorative stitching that was supposed to be done in the black border. After putting a bit of it in I thought it was too busy and detracted from the main design so I left it out. Everything else is as it should be although I have to check it over well this evening to make sure I didn't miss anything with all the jumping around I did on the design. I also got a bit more done on Monrovia, I'll have an update photo on that for you tomorrow ;)
